Currently, George Lucas and Lucasfilm are in the process of converting Star Wars Episode 2 Attack of the Clones to a 3D version. This will be the second Star Wars movie episode presented to Star Wars fans as Star Wars 3 D after the Friday 10 February 2012 release date of Star Wars Episode 1 The Phantom Menace 3D in theatres multiplexes.
At this time, Lucasfilm estimates Star Wars Episode 2 3D will have an opening box office gross of approximately $ 14 million U.S. dollars to $ 16 million U.S. dollars in movie cinemas in North America (United States of America and Canada). The total box office revenues for Attack of the Clones 3D is expected to be roughly $ 30 million U.S. dollars in North America.
Star Wars Episode 3 Revenge of the Sith 3D release date in cinemas multiplexes will conclude the Star Wars prequel trilogy 3D on Friday 11 October 2013 in theaters worldwide.
After the completion of the Star Wars prequels 3-D, then George Lucas will begin the process of converting the Star Wars classic trilogy to Star Wars 3 D. Star Wars fans can expect to view Star Wars Episode 4 A New Hope 3D in cineplexes in early 2015 with Star Wars Episode 5 The Empire Strikes Back 3D in the year 2016 and finally Star Wars Episode 6 Return of the Jedi 3D following in multiplexes in early 2017.
This amazing re-realease in 3D is said to be out in theatres by Septemberd 2013.
