Earlier in the year we were jazzed about the Epson 3LCD PowerLite Home Cinema 750HD projector because it featured active 3D at under a grand.

Today, we’re even happier to hear about the latest active 3D projector from Epson, the PowerLite Home Cinema 2030. Reason being, this projector features a mobile high-definition link (MHL) HDMI port for outputting video from your Android phone or tablet.

That means now you can more easily stream Netflix and other networks without the need of a PlayStation 3 or some such device. Although you’ll probably want some type of 3D Blu-ray player to add to this thing.

This Epson projector is also said to be compatible with the Roku Streaming Stick, which as you may imagine works like the Roku box but looks like a MHL flash drive. Oh yeah, we almost forgot! The cost of this Epson projector is $999 dollars, still under a grand, but 3D glasses are sold separately.
