With all the classic films being re-made into 3D, the thought of blood and chainsaws popping off your movie screen brings horror films to an exciting 3D high with Texas Chainsaw Masacre coming soon.
Tania Raymonde spoke recently about her character in the new Texas Chainsaw film and spoke of her excitement about this re-make in 3D.
“It was a little traumatic because this is a very intense movie. People expect there to be some tongue-in-cheek, but there’s not. This movie takes off where the original started and stands on its own as a thriller and origin story. There’s something epic and scary about it as it delves into this disturbed mind that is not right. It’s got a lot of action, so it’s cool.”
Through her intimidation at the role, she still spoke highly of how great this film will be in 3D.
“I think it’s going to be great,” Raymonde told Shock. “It’s cool to be part of such a cult phenomenon like Texas Chainsaw Massacre. I never saw the remake. I saw the original and it scared the crap out of me, deeply disturbing me.”
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D was originally set to open on October 5th, 2012 but has been pushed back to January 2013. Only one more Halloween without it and we’ll be able to enjoy a frightful Masacre in 2013.
