With the growing wealth of HD 3D technology and content available on the web, it doesn’t come too soon that LG is partnering up to make wirless 3DTV to laptop connections easier.

In the past tech friendly users who wanted to utilize WiDi technology, which allows you to stream HD content from your laptop to your 3DTV without any cables, had to purchase a separate adapter to plug into their 3DTV… unitl now.

Thanks to a new partnership between Intel and LG, we will soon be seeing televisions with this technology integrated into the main unit.

“Through this strategic alliance, CINEMA 3D Smart TV users will be able to access a wider variety of content in a more convenient manner,” said Seog-ho Ro, Senior Vice President of LG Home Entertainment Company’s TV Business Unit. “Intel WiDi will be one of several features that will enhance the user convenience of our CINEMA 3D Smart TVs, further differentiating our products from the competition.”

The deal will see LG’s upcoming LG CINEMA 3D Smart TVs come with integrated WiDi making them the first in the TV industry to feature Intel’s WiDi technology.

LG and Intel are planning to show off their new partnered WiDi wares at the CES this January, which should bring for some interesting new 3D find this year and we will be here to bring you the latest at that time.
