A gamers’ dream, Samsung has now upgraded on their latest 3D laptop for gamers.
Samsung has spruced up its Series 7 gaming laptop for PC gamers who like some 3D action thrown into the mix.
The 17.3-inch machine has been refreshed with a “SuperBright” 1920×1080 3D LED display, according to Samsung. Fans of 3D movies can also take advantage of the new display courtesy of the unit’s Blu-ray drive. And along for the ride is an AMD Radeon HD 7870M graphics card that Samsung says is developed for games and taps into DirectX version 11.1.
The Series 7 Gamer has also gotten a paint job, splashed with a sunny yellow as a brighter alternative to the current darker finish. A 128GB solid-state drive supplements the standard 1-terabyte hard disk to offer a faster boot-up and dual storage.
The new laptop debuts tomorrow in its home base of Asia at a price of 2,990 won ($2,648). No word yet on when it might expand to other countries or what the price will be in other markets.Equipped with an Intel Core i7-3610QM CPU, the laptop comes with three three-core processors. Samsung is touting the unit’s battery power and the reaction rate to fully drive the latest heavy-duty games. The Series 7 Gamer comes standard with 8GB of RAM but can be upgraded to a full 16GB.
