Production for Pandas 3D, a 60-minute documentary about the endangered Giant Pandas at the Wolong National Nature Reserve in China, is underway.
The film is being produced by Caroline Hawkins of Oxford Scientific Films, with the Chinese Wildlife Conservation Association and the China Conservation and Research Center. The film crew will have total access to the facility, whose goal is to get the Giant Panda to breed and then re-enter the wild.
It sounds interesting enough. They actually have the Giant Pandas watch “Panda Porn” to get them in the mood, they say.
The film will raise awareness of the near extinction of these creatures. It is being directed by Nicolas Brown (Human Planet).
